October 20 is the 'DAY of the DJ' in the City of New Orleans and across the State of Louisiana, as sponsored by Council Member Oliver Thomas of the New Orleans City Council. The Day celebrates ALL volunteers at Community-Radio Stations and features a show-host over WWOZ for more than 20 years, "Brown Sugar" (Belle Moore), a favorite of Bob Dylan's and a "great friend" to Bobby Rush.
